It varies with what type of colour you are having, most foiling or balayage appointments with our colourists take anywhere from 3 to 4 hrs. Colour correction could take longer and would be discussed at time of consultation.

Of course! We offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation for colour and extensions to discuss your hair goals and determine what we can achieve in what timeline and provide you with a quote. Please know we will always consult before we start each service also.

A root shadow is a slightly darker root areas with lighter ends. To achieve this we apply a darker toner to your roots and blended into lighter mid-lengths and ends. It creates a soft graded contrast between the root, mids and ends allowing a softer lower maintenance grow out that is so sought after with our signature lived-in colours.

A toner neutralises unwanted tones in the hair or deposits a desired tone. If your hair tends to go brassy a toner can neutralise the brass tones, if you like to be really golden or ashy a toner can create this but a toner will not lighten your hair, if you want to be lighter you must first have foils/balayage to lighten you hair before a toner can be applied.

Olaplex is a bond building treatment, it protects and strengths your hair bonds during the colour process. No 1 is added to the colour and the No 2 treatment is done at the basin after your colour service, they both help to protect the hair and we highly recommend then for all lightening services we do in the salon as well as aftercare to maintain your locks between visits.

Maintenance foils are to maintain an existing colour, the guest is happy with their colour but need a freshen up and regrowth coloured, they will have had their hair coloured within the last 12 weeks.

Refresh foils are for clients looking for a change, they might want to brighten up or tone down what they have, they might need to be foiled and have hand painted balayage to achieve their desired look or it’s been more than 12 weeks since they last coloured their hair.

We use micro weft extensions, sewn into a beaded track.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your hair and if there is anything you are unhappy with we offer a 7 day notification policy. Contact us within 7 days of your appointment to notify us of any concerns and we will arrange an appointment to make whatever adjustments are needed free of charge.

If possible we would love to come to you appointment alone so you can relax and enjoy some time for Mom but if it is necessary for you to bring you little one we understand.

We do ask though that you take into consideration that you know your little one best, if you know they’ll be ok sleep or sit and chill while you get your hair done great but if you think that’ll be an issue it’s probably best to reschedule as we must take other guests and their experience into consideration.

A blow dry is compulsory after all colour appointments so we can see and assess the colour and ensure you are satisfied with the results. A blow-dry is also essential after a cut as we need to see how the hair falls dry to assess if further cutting is needed.
